Vanessa ~ the potter

     Pottery has been a passion of mine since I was a child growing up in Indiana.   My dream has always been to touch people's souls by my work, to give a sense of joy.  I now live in Raleigh, NC and am a wife and mother of two, and pottery is a huge source of creativity for me.  

     My hope for you is as you look at my work or buy one for a friend, a family member, or yourself that you will see a glimpse of God and discover for yourself a sense of His awesomeness.  ENJOY!

     I am a pastor and a chemist, so the chemist part of me comes in handy, for I am the glazemaker.   Making glazes is like following a recipe, just with different ingredients and measurements.   As you look upon Vanessa's work I hope the glazes really draw you in and makes your soul sing.

     Our daughters really love to create pottery.   They both love making pancakes and pinch pots.   They are learning to become young entrepeneurs and at the same time becoming passionate about giving back to others.  Check out some of their pottery in the Gallery.
